For All the Starlost

Ann K. Schwader

As light which lives beyond its star
Long cinder dark, your lives still shine
To earthblind eyes where heroes are
As light which lives beyond its star
Down centuries: a burning scar
Of honor for our restless line,
As light which lives beyond its star.
Long cinder dark, your lives still shine.
