Artist Bio

Heather McKinney Chernik is an established illustrator in the black and white interior art field. Her work has distinctive art nouveau and neoclassicist influences, and specializes in slightly dark and sexual imagery. Her recent body of work is a series of realistic oil paintings with heavy pinup tendencies. These recent pieces have been received well at her online Gallery Green.

Her work has been shown in NYC at the Society of Illustrators among other places, and has hundreds of published illustrations.

HMC is a Member of the Society of Illustrators and Graduate, Pratt Institute, Magna Cum Laude, and currently resides north of New York City where she works as a freelance illustrator, web designer and adjunct Instructor.
