Nocturnal
Anuradha Rao
carelessly scattered with stars,
earth solemnly sleeps,
as the wind whispers darkly
to a pale and dwindling moon.
Author Bio
Anuradha Rao lives in Bangalore, India with her husband and two children. She has a Master's Degree in English literature. Ms. Rao writes poetry as well as short stories and non-fiction. She say she writes all kinds of poems, free verse, traditional rhymed, haiku and humorous. Her work has appeared in Moondance, and can be viewed in their Spring 2003 edition, now currently online. Also, the forthcoming issue of Flaming Asian Ink Quarterly will carry one of her pieces.
