Airy descent of maple leaf.
Touch of autumn’s reverie.
Colors bewitching humble sea.
Muses sailing wayfarers’ heed.

Passion crimsons sky above.
Matching tones of him and love.
Free as winds who guide the sail.
Intrigues the water his ardent trail.

Author Bio

Sherry Jones is a free-lance writer who is currently working on different styles of poetry and children´s stories for adults. She has always been intrigued by the concepts introduced from fantasy novels. Favorite book series being The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, the motivation for writing has geared toward poetry for the ´dream-like´ quality and effects it has on its readers. In her opinion, a writer´s true skill is to have the ability to express emotions onto paper in simple, concise language. As a writer, that is what Sherry hope to achieve in all her writings, thus her motto, ´Simplicity in poetry = eloquence in words.´

Sherry is currently residing in CO, and is published in the Blue Planet, Top Write Stories Corner, and other small newspaper and magazine publications, soon to be publishing her short children´s stories.
